Art Spectrum® Prussian Blue gouache is an intense deep blue with a powerful presence. It was one of the first synthetic pigments created by the paintmaker Diesbach in Berlin around 1706.
The Japanese artist, Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), made extensive use of Prussian Blue in his famous print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
