CANVARS Maestro Cotton Canvas combines heavyweight Italian cotton, hand-selected timber and traditional hand-stretched construction with a deeper 22 × 42mm gallery profile for a strong, contemporary presentation.
The 380gsm, 100% Italian cotton features a versatile medium grain, providing an excellent balance of texture and responsiveness across a wide variety of painting styles and techniques.
Each canvas is double primed with premium acid-free gesso for increased colour vibrancy and reduced absorbency, then individually hand stretched over kiln-dried pure fir wood stretcher bars, carefully selected free from knots and imperfections for strength, stability and resistance to warping.
