Art Spectrum Heavy Duty Stretcher Bars & Bracing

For larger work, heavy duty stretchers are especially suitable for lightly or non-framed work. A wider selection is designed with double tongue to give the support normally provided by the frame.

The timber for our Professional Hoop Pine Stretchers is sourced and grown on Queensland plantations and it is known for its uniformity and is knot-free. Furniture grade finger jointing and a careful and slow kiln-drying process prevents warping of the stretcher bars.

Side profile depth of bars – 32mm

Inner width of bars – 26mm

Art Spectrum® Stretcher Bars sizes range from 12” to 60”.

Red and Blue Bracing slots are provided on all sizes from 48” and above.

Open-ended mortice and tenon corners make squaring up easy to achieve and maintain.

Wedges available as an optional extra.
